This is done so that when you start to see the white coat appear 10 years later, you’ll know it’s time to re-coat. Once the coating has been applied our special granule material is spread over the roof surface. The granule material is applied to the foam roof for two reasons, (1) to help protect it from the suns UV rays; and (2) to prevent birds from pecking at it and damaging your foam roof. Once complete Universal Home Improvement Inc. will issue a 10-year warranty chipping and flaking of the coating.
