It doesn’t have the heat and water leakage problems associated with conventional tar & gravel roofs. When covered with protective coating, polyurethane foam will not absorb water because its 100% waterproof and it also eliminates ponding water on your roof.

Universal Home Improvement Inc.’s Polyurethane Foam Roofing retains its insulating value for the lifetime of the installation and comes with a 10-year guarantee against leaking. Simply have a two-coat sealer and new granules applied to the surface of the roof every ten years to guarantee against leaking for the life!

Universal Home Improvement Inc. is also experienced at re-coating and re-surfacing all foam roofs. We start off power-washing your foam roof to ensure that the coating will adhere to the old materials. Then, we apply a two-coat waterproofing sealer to the entire roof surface making the first coat white and the second coat grey. This is done so that when you start to see the white coat appear 10 years later, you’ll know it’s time to re-coat. Once the coating has been applied our special granule material is spread over the roof surface. The granule material is applied to the foam roof for two reasons, (1) to help protect it from the suns UV rays; and (2) to prevent birds from pecking at it and damaging your foam roof. Once complete Universal Home Improvement Inc. will issue a 10-year warranty chipping and flaking of the coating.
